OVERVIEW
Schima wallichii is an Asian species of evergreen trees belonging to the tea family, Theaceae.
This tree spreading from Nepal, through Southeast Asia, up to Papua New Guinea. Called medang gatal because of this tree has some sort of layer under the bark, which tumbled out when sawed and cause itching on the skin.
